Thank you so much for joining us and we welcome you warmly into the home of marbled wallpapers, fabrics and other beautifully crafted products and gifts.
As I type this on a wet and windy day in April (we have had hailstones this afternoon), there is much excitement going on behind the scenes.
The initial design element of this first collection of wallpapers and fabrics seems quite the distant memory and we now have the joy of seeing these designs, once sheets of traditionally marbled papers, turned into the highest quality wallpaper and tactile fabrics.
Once the designs are revealed we shall look forward to telling you a little more about how these designs came about, but in essence we wanted to create a capsule collection where we hope there will be patterns and colour-ways to suit everyone and accommodate peoples own styles and individual homes.
Although we decided to begin with both wallpapers and fabrics we have many ideas and as well as bringing out new House of Amitié goods we also wish to work with as many fellow craftspeople and small business as possible in a collaborative manner.
We hope to keep you updated with all the goings-on behind the doors of our house both through this blog and via our newsletter which you can sign up for on our homepage.
