Using our textural House of Amitié Linen Union fabric in our stunning Juniper Blue Anise design, our lampshades are lined with a beautiful brushed copper metallic which gives a warm and enchanting glow when illuminated.

Our Shades come in the following 3 sizes - with a standard lamp base fitting (or you can choose a pendant ceiling fitting for our Large sized lampshades):

  • Standard (20cm diameter x 18cm height)
  • Tall (20cm diameter x 30cm height)
  • Large (30 diameter x 21cm height)

Each Lamp Shade is made to order and lovingly hand produced in collaboration with our maker Esk Valley Lampshades, based in Whitby in the North East of the UK.

All House of Amitié fabrics are digitally printed by skilled craftspeople at our partnering UK Print House to the highest standards. Our fabric used for this Lamp Shade consists of 60% Linen / 40% Cotton Union - with yarns from Europe and fabric woven in the UK, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning that they contain no harmful chemicals.

Purchase with House of Amitié Circular or Tripod Lamp Base for a complete lampshade set (sold separately).

  • Lampshade Lining: PVC (Approved for Fire Safety by The Lighting Association).
  • Lamp Shade Hand Made in the UK.

Light Fitting Information & Recommendations:

  • LED or Low Wattage Bulb (to a Maximum of 40w).
  • Base Fitting Shades: Fitted to lamp bases by a connecting ring at the base of the shade. (4cm fixed drop to the lamp base, hiding the bulb & light fitting).
  • Removable converter to fit either UK or EU light fittings. 
  • Lamp Shade Base Not Included.
  • Round Wooden Base Fitting Pictured: Available to purchase separately (suited for Standard and Tall Lamp Shades only).

     

    * The current lead time for our Lampshades is approx. 3-4 weeks (when fabric is in stock at our Makers). If the fabric is out of stock at our makers and you wish to 'pre-order' then please expect a wait of up to 7 weeks.

    * Please note that each lampshade is hand crafted and the positioning of the print will vary from lampshade to lampshade.

    * Due to the nature of linen fabrics, there are often naturally occurring knots, slubs and slight colour differences within our fabrics. These characteristics enhance the textural, natural look, feel and overall beauty of this premium and sustainable material.
