Our classic Moucheté pattern is based on the traditional Italian or ‘vein’ marble. Moucheté is an alternative name for this pattern and also translates to 'dappled' or 'mottled' which we think is quite an apt description for the most minimalist of our inaugural designs. This style of marbling was created in Italy at the end of the 18^thCentury. Using a simple palette we have simplified this design relevant for the present day whilst retaining a look reminiscent of marbled stone - perfect for a period home.

This design has been digitally produced on 'Mica Coated Fibrous Non-Woven Paper', partially made from recycled plastic bottles. All inks used are water-based, non-toxic and environmentally safe - free from VOCs (Volatile Organic Compound). These Mica coated fibrous wallpapers provide a beautiful texture and jewel like quality to further enhance our magical marbled designs. 

All of our wallpapers are printed by our highly skilled, family owned manufacturing partner in the UK, who have lovingly produced Wallpaper since the 19th Century.
